Arang and the Magistrate
- Shin Mina! This girl is going after the title of fantasy/supernatural lover isn’t she? Hey, I don’t mind, as long as she’s on my screen. Just two roles. No need to fret.
- First time watching Lee Jun Ki onscreen. How are we going to see post-army abs in his ancient garbs? Maybe he goes fishing as a hobby?
- Synopsis: Set in the Joseon Dynasty period, a female ghost (Shin Min-A), who was murdered, appears in front of a government official (Lee Joon-Gi) and pleads for the man to punish her murderer. The government official then attempts to appease her wishes. [From Wiki]

- One action drama a year for Lee Min Ho. He’s aiming for the badass title in both modern and saguek genre. The long legs help. And face.
- Kim Hee Sun. Oh. I don’t know what to think about this chemistry. *Cross fingers*
- To be honest, other than Lee Min Ho, the other guy that captures my eyes is the white-haired flute player. Guess who? He’s your favorite man, Sung Hoon, from last year’s New Tales of Gisaeng.
- Synopsis: A modern day doctor is kidnapped by a time-traveled Goryeo warrior to cure his princess.
Vampire Prosecutor 2
- Oh Hey there, Mr. Vampire aka Yun Jung Hoon, spotting thicker eyeliner this school year. Did he get sponsorship from any make-up brand? 😛
- Lee Young Ah finally gets to sport a longer hairstyle, showing her toned legs in a short dress to romance the already smitten Vampire?
- And of course, having one vampire around is not fun. The writer added a rival to up the tension in Season 2. The question is….Who?
To The Beautiful You
- I’ll be honest here: I’m not fond of the cast. Have never watched any of the released versions.
- Synopsis: Kang Tae-Joon (Minho) is a gold medalist in the high jump, but he has been mired in a slump due to an injury. In order to help her idol Kang Tae-Joon, a girl named Koo Jae-Hee (Sulli) disguises herself as a boy and transfers to his all male high school. [From: Wiki]
- Seriously, what’s with Asian writers and their infatuation with cross-dressing female themes? I’m not impressed. I want a cross-dressed MALE spurring hijinks in the girl’s dorms. THEN we’ll talk.
Haeundae Lovers has yet to release a teaser but my eyes are on it too.

LOL I agree! XD I want to see a drama where a guy has to pretend to be a girl. Is there really no drama with this theme? o.o so weird. If no one’s going to make one, I’ll end up writing a script! 😀

Here’s another pretty pic of Yoo Seung Ho in Arang and the Magistrate, playing the young and cheeky Jade Emperor of Heavens. Why does this drama sound more and more like a Chinese Drama? They’re expert in this field.

Too bad the only roles where they resemble girls are historical ones 🙁 So there’s no fun!! I’d really like to see all my favourite male actors together in a film/drama, dressed as girls *-* That’s my fantasy now! Jae Joong would be perfect for this *-*
There’s actually just one, now that I think of it. Princess Princess, based on the anime. But I haven’t seen it and it’s not popular at all, I haven’t heard great reviews of it so I suppose it’s not very good :/

To the beautiful you is a remake of the jap and chinese drama hana kimi so you might wanna check it out too…. but might spoil watching it as it would be relatively similar

I’m game for all three-the last only to see what the Koreans make of the Hana Kimi saga (Loved loved loved the Japanese version, Taiwanese-just okay) !! And your so right, we need one where a guy is cross dressing as a girl, makes things much more hilarious and not something we’ve seen dozens of times before! 😛 Your idea reminded me of a manga I read along those lines ages ago but it was one of my favorites! *goes to dig it out for a re-re-re-read, hehe*

Arang is so pretty and I just cant wait to see Mina as a ghost!! I’m in love with her in the teaser!! ^^ I’ve also seen Junki in Time between dog and wolf and Iljimae so I’m expecting much from him too! 😉
Yeah, for now, this one’s definitely a pass! What would be interesting about the shipping industry! 😛 Besides, every time I look at Jae Hee, I can’t help but recall how much I hated him in CoW! I’ll wait until this drama passes n then read reviews-if it’s good, I might give it a try later, otherwise, avoiding it like the plague !! 😀

BTW, there was a mini-series where it’s the other way around — guy cross-dressed as a girl. the series just ended weeks ago. it was MA BOY. kinda cute and fun. not dragging cause it was only a 3-episode drama.
