Weee~ Although the centipede-braided hair is not that favored, Hu Ge pulls it off. I like it on him. He looks awesome in the red costume, flaming ready to slice the enemies. If broody, nekkid showers are reserved in Korean drama, then soaking in the rain must be the equivalent scene in Chinese dramas for heroes to show off their quiet, anguished moments. I know you guys can easily identify a few…. B…..B…..J…..X…..

    This vid reminds me a lot of “8 Avatars” production. CGs look so similar and a few recognizable actresses from then too. I still don’t get why Hu Ge is so popular; is it the cleft chin?

      I think it’s more the fan-following he built ever since he was… really young? Since Chinese Paladin I’m guessing (which used to be the most watched show at my cousins’ house, where I picked the asian drama bug from), and then everyone just jumped on board when he and Ariel Lin co-starred and were known for their… very amazing chemistry *cough*actualrelationship*cough*

    haha I’m not sure Keane, I don’t think I’ve looked at him that close to see the cleft! 😛 His dark character later in the drama is more appealing. Weeee ~~

    OMG, I miss Hu Ge! He’s really more characterized in this kind of role. Looks appealing. Reminds me of him and Ariel Lin. ^_^

    For me, no one can beat Hu Ge in wuxia, historical themed series. The man is born into the role of heroes – the stuff legends are made of! I hold him sacred in my heart as the all time wuxia-historical-fantasy themed series’ hero. 🙂
