You know I wanted to talk about my favorite scenes in this episode but it’s a difficult task because every single moment is beautiful. Therefore, a recap! ^_^
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– From last episode, we left off with Eun Jo tearfully asking for her father’s forgiveness. Standing just right outside door, Ki Hoon hears everything. Since the house is pretty traditional, Eun Jo’s scream is heard even from outside by her white knight, Jung Woo. Tears are seen from both men as her agony and pain rip through their bodies and souls.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– That night, Jung Woo sneakily calls Eun Jo out. He informs her that he’s going off for a while to do army services (I doubt it! What is our happy pill up to?). Before he leaves, he gives Eun Jo a “crown” pin; he names it ‘bread’ with a purpose to remind her to eat. It’s cute that she wears it (as requested by Jung Woo) throughout the episode to emphasize Jung Woo’s place in her heart. Aw!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– Eun Jo wakes up Hyo Sun the next morning and asks her to help persuade the Ajusshi workers. However, due to Eun Jo’s inconsideration and rude manner previously, they refuse to come back. Hyo Sun asks her unnie whether she knows that this ajusshi’s mom is their old classmate Dong Su’s grandma? Judging from Eun Jo’s expression, she does not know that the grandma is sick. Hyo Sun continues her lecture and asks her sister, Eun Jo, to not think of these ajusshi as “cow workers” because they’re mostly father’s classmates and have been working diligently for Daesung’s factory for the past 20 years.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
– Seeing her faults, Eun Jo decides to buy the ajusshi their favorite/needed treats and bow respectfully to each of them, following by an apology.

The next scene is beautiful. Hyo Sun looks stunning throughout this episode, while Eun Jo’s glare softens to gooey whenever she looks at Hyo Sun. (I LOVE THIS SCENE!) Walking down the road, Hyo Sun is itching for an answer.

Hyo Sun: “To you, what am I?”

Eun Jo: “What kind of question is that?”

Hyo Sun: *tugs Eun Jo’s arm gently to stop her from walking* “I’m just curious, what am I to you?”

Photobucket

Eun Jo: “Why do you ask these kinds of things?”

Hyo Sun: “I want to know what you think of me, I want to know for sure.”

Eun Jo: “You, what do you think of me?”

Hyo Sun: “Are you, by any chance, going to abandon me? Because you’ve work so hard for the factory, are you just going to give up and leave?” aww..

Eun Jo: “Are you worried that I might leave?”

Hyo Sun: “After you answer my question, you can ask me yours. Are you going to leave?” Seeing Eun Jo’s unsure expression, she continues, “I’m getting tired of not getting along with you. Even for a moment, can’t we just support each other and get along? Can’t you just promise me you won’t go anywhere? I’ve been thinking a lot lately. If the factory shuts down, it’s like our dad has died again. I can’t let it shut down. I can never let it shut down, but I don’t know what to do nor where to begin. Even though I go crazy trying to figure things out, I still have no clue. It would be nice if someone hold me…Mother is acting strange and I’m so lonely. I think Mom’s in a state of shock hence her strange behavior. With time, I think she’ll get better. If I don’t think of it in that way, I would go mad.” Hyo Sun tries hard not to choke on her tears. “I don’t want to fight. I want to laugh with you. Because of you, I want to be warm.”

Photobucket

Eun Jo: “Don’t cry. Do you think my goal is to fight you? That’s not my goal. You know it too. Not listening to you is neither on purpose nor by command. It’s the same as being warm (affectionate?) It cannot be commanded nor be done on purpose. That’s how I live. Even so, I will try.”

Hyo Sun: “Hmm?”

Eun Jo: “Being warm – that I can’t do. I can’t promise that. I don’t know such things. But, not opposing you – that I will try, even if it’s for the time being.” A smile is seen on Hyo Sun’s relief face.

Hyo Sun: “Really?”

Eun Jo: “Don’t cry.”

Hyo Sun quickly sniffs back her tears as Eun Jo turns to continue down the road. Catching up to Eun Jo, Hyo Sun quietly links arms with her Unnie. Unlike before, Eun Jo doesn’t reject her in a mean way.

Eun Jo: “Don’t do things like this…”

Back at Ki Hoon, the poor man has engaged himself in 3000 bows to ask for forgiveness.

Ki Hoon: “Will I be forgiven if I bow? If that’s possible, I’m willing to bow until I stop breathing. However…” He recalls the moment he had with father Daesung before he passed away in the ambulance. “Ajusshi, Ajusshi, please open your eyes.” In deep thought, “I was thinking only of myself at the moment, I pray that I wouldn’t commit a sin. I wasn’t worrying about the late ajusshi at all.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Daesung‘s eyes opened slightly and he mumbled, “Everything will be just fine…”

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– These sisters are so awkward now, it’s hilarious. And cute when they bump into each other’s head. =P

Late that night, Ki Hoon wobbly walks home, exhausted from the bowing. He falls and leans against the wall just like eight years ago. Coincidentally, Eun Jo happens to pass by and sees him. Memories flood their minds.

In his head, Ki Hoon bitterly says, “She’s here. The bad girl who broke my heart. Come here…Come here.” Because she can’t hear his thought, she is about to walk back into the house when he mumbles, “Come…” and falls to the ground which makes her come running to help him.

Ki Hoon: “Eun Jo ah…Eun Jo ah…I can’t…I really can’t go to you anymore. It turned out that I can’t go to you anymore. It’s impossible now…BLAH BLAH BLAH.”

You know what? I’m getting frustrated at these two mind games. They will keep lashing at each other, pricking at each other’s injuries and tending to each other’s wounds the next time around.

Photobucket

Eun Jo replies: “I’ve never asked you to come to me. Because I have never asked you to come to me, therefore, I won’t ask you why you can’t come. I don’t understand why you want to take that person’s place (Daesung), but I’m not going to ask why. That’s fine, do that then. Not to me, but to Hyo Sun. She’s such a clumsy person. Right after crazily fighting with me, she asked me to hold her, like a puppy. She’s getting on my nerves. Even though I don’t really care about her, if I can give her warmth, just a little, maybe I’ll be forgiven. I’ll try because I really want to be forgiven.”

Oh my gosh, they’re the female-male version of each other, always doing the same thing! Even now, together asking for forgiveness.

Back in their rooms, both cry their hearts out with Ki Hoon’s narration, “And so, that day, that bad girl cry the last time for me, who loves her. I, too, cry the last time.

C’mon Ki Hoon, who are you two kidding? The last time? Not in a million years. You both owe the viewers some skinship and lovey-dovey scenes. 😉

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– Since father’s death, Kang Sook has started mistreating the family’s grandmas and especially Hyo Sun, who is shocked at mother’s sudden change. At the breakfast table, Eun Jo asks her mother where Hyo Sun is. Kang Sook replies something along the line of  “I don’t want to eat with her so I told her to go eat somewhere else.” Eun Jo goes out to look for Hyo Sun, and bumps into a perky Ki Hoon, who smiles at her! (hey smile, haven’t seen you in a while!)

They find Hyo Sun and together, all three of them, eat breakfast in the form of Korean Mixed Rice (Bibimbap). THIS IS SUCH A CUTE SCENE!! GAHHHH I had to make a collage! Cheers!

Photobucket

– Unfortunately, this scene doesn’t last long because the ajusshi are back to the house. When they move back to the factory, Ki Hoon places his hand on Eun Jo’s shoulder as if to say, “You have done well.” Hyo Sun turns around and sees this moment between the two. Instead of feeling anger, she smiles understandingly. I love that moment. Aw!

– The older brother, Ki Jung, meets with his old man (father). I don’t know why, but Ki Jung has this righteous aura surrounding him. I’d like to think of him as the bad guy, but I can’t. Somehow, the old man gives me feelings of a true villain; he’s sly and manipulative.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– I find it funny how Ki Jung’s talk to his father reminds me of how Eun Jo warns Hyo Sun that she can top her mother Kang Sook because she’s smarter. Here, Ki Jung wonders how bad he can become. Similar? I want to see these two MEET!

– Since the ajusshi are back on the wagon, wine can be produced, thanks to out heroine, Eun Jo and her success in the yeast experiment. She is now able to replicate her father’s wine. The question of who will take charge of the production/celebration is naturally raised up.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– Sitting around the table, the decision is given to Hyo Sun. I knew she would appoint this important role to Eun Jo. “I know father would like it best if you do it.” 🙂

– Later that night, Hyo Sun’s uncle comes to see Eun Jo. He blabbers on and on until Eun Jo asks him to stop beating around the bushes. It turns out that Kang Sook wants him out of this house but Mr. Chicken here has no place to go. She promises he doesn’t have to go anywhere. Outside of Kang Sook’s room, Eun Jo hears the sound of something bring dropped. Opening the door, she finds Hyo Sun on the floor and not from her is a  broken tea cup. Oh gosh…poor Hyo Sun. Kang Sook is going all out on this lonely girl. Eun Jo demands Hyo Sun to stand up and follow her outside.

In her room, Eun Jo asks why Hyo Sun has to be stupid and provoke mom when she clearly knows Kang Sook doesn’t like her. Keeping her anger from sounding mean, she requests Hyo Sun to avoid Mom for the time being. Hyo Sun refuses to do so because she keeps on thinking about mom and wanting to see her. (This scene calls for tissues…)

Eun Jo: “Are you stupid?”

Hyo Sun: “Do you think I’m stupid?”

Eun Jo: “Anyhow, I beg you to avoid mom for now. Eat breakfast with me at the factory. Work until late at night and come home when she has fallen asleep. If you avoid her for the time being, then things might get better…”

Hyo Sun: “Then…things would get better soon?

Eun Jo: “That’s right.”

Hyo Sun: “Am I….a little child? Some time ago, I, too, knew some things. When dad was watching and when he was not at home, she treats me differently. I knew it but it didn’t matter. When she treats me that way, I feel sad but that means I like her. Since I like her, it doesn’t matter.”

Photobucket
DING DING DING! Did you guys hear what I just heard? Hyo Sun says the exact same thing as her dad. Eun Jo appears unstable as she remembers father Daesung’s words. “It doesn’t matter because I like your mother…

Hyo Sun: “So you’re saying, things will get better if I avoid mom? It’s fine if things don’t get better. Even if she hates me forever, that’s fine. As long as I don’t get kicked out and as long as you and mom don’t run away, everything is okay.”

Tears roll freely down Eun Jo’s cheeks as Hyo Sun’s words sink deeper and deeper into her mind.

Hyo Sun: “If you, mom, and Junsu aren’t here, then I’ll really be by myself.” She forces out a weak smile and steps closer to Eun Jo. “Just don’t leave me alone…”

That’s it, Eun Jo is stunned and speechless. Those haunting words from father Dasesung come rushing back. “Don’t leave me alone. If you can do that, I’ll be grateful.

Outside the door, Hyo Sun falls to the ground, panting heavily while beating her chest. (She doesn’t have any heart-related sickness now right Writers?)

– A very breathless scene to show the golden heart of Cinderella. Notice how I wrote “hearts“, one is Hyo Sun’s, the other is Eun Jo’s. Both of them each taking an element of father Daesung.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– Eun Jo comes to Kang Sook and begs her to treat Hyo Sun better because they have sinned so much towards Hyo Sun’s family. Whether they kneel or bow down to Hyo Sun, it won’t be enough to repay everythng. She informs Kang Sook that father Daesung knew all of her nice acting but he still loved her! She tries to pack their belongings and moves out, however, Kang Sook says not until they get to inherit something. Confused and bogged down with guilt, she bumps into Ki Hoon outside. Tearfully, she asks him to take her far far away!

YAYYY! Take her away Ki Hoon! The girl is taking the initiative, you won’t fail me now right?

Aiii, I didn’t make any icons for this episode because I was busy with the collages…hehe ^_^

Enjoy!

Hey, I want to ask you there's a song in the back sound. A girl/woman/female singer sings it. And all I could hear was something like "Toraga". The scene is at night (hehehe i forgot too) I wish you could help me find the singer and its title because it's not in my iTunes list.

Kemala, I'm not sure of the song. Do you know the exact moment it plays in the drama?
