Caught a break and went to watch The Jungle Book with my little boy. Seems like the running theme in all Disney movies is identifying and enhancing one’s sense of self (be the best of you!) Haven’t watched the original movie or animation series, but I enjoyed the movie and loved it quite a bit. Baloo and his jokes got me rolling.

Sina’s Weibo Awards Night 2015
Another gathering, this one slightly bigger because everyone has weibo! There are some Korean stars thrown in the mix as well, among them my favorites from Running Man! Did you guys vote? I did. Lol. Zhao Li Ying and Kris Wu are both Weibo Queen and King respectively. Nick was the top dog and lost to Kris in the last few days!

Showbiz wars dominate in Chen Xiao’s Above The Clouds
First trailer is out and it’s cray cray all the way through. How many foot trips and slaps can one take in the showbiz before one explodes? Above the Clouds is Yumama‘s first venture into the glitz and glam of modern world. Lol. The story follows our heroine (Yuan Shan Shan) as she moves from the country to the big city to find her biological mother. Somehow, she ends up in the acting world and has to fight with fellow rising starlets for the chance in the spotlight (because you either rise or fall). She meets arrogant top star (Chen Xiao) and melts his heart with her pure beauty and passion for acting.

Well, if you were wondering how they would look like together, here’s your answer. The two met up a few days ago and shot some posters together for their new film, So I Married An Anti Fan, based on a Manhwa of the same name. The premise is about our heroine, a tabloid reporter accidentally revealing scandalous photos of the hero – a super star, and then gets labeled as his biggest anti-fan. I don’t know the exact storyline but from the title, they somehow get married down the line and there are supposedly some kissing scenes and a bed scene. Now that I have seen them together, they don’t look half as bad as my imagination. Yuan Shan Shan in reality is only five years older than EXO’s Park Chan Yeol.
