Based on a popular Chinese Xianxia web novel, Desolate Era (莽荒纪), written by I Eat Tomatoes, the story follows a young man plagued with illness all his life and eventually succumbed. Due to his kind nature, he is reincarnated, given a second chance at life (without having to drink the bowl of forgetful soup) and enters the immortal realm. He realizes he’s meant for bigger things, yunno, like avenging for his family and saving this clan/world from extinction. He trains hard to become a power player in this world.

You don’t know how much work is put into these costume productions until you watch their BTS videos. It’s crazy! Props to all the production crew and staff members! It makes you want to forgive and overlook all its misgivings. Lol. Cdramas to start filming in Winter 2016 Batch 1
You know when I write about dramas, I rarely sit down and count them? Until I do and the list is humongous! There are about 20+ chinese dramas set to start filming in the winter of 2016, as you might already notice from the onslaught of press conferences and booting ceremonies this past week. Well, well, well. Now my interest is piqued, unlike before when they released an okay photoshopped picture of Hawick Lau as the hero a few weeks ago. Lol. Angel Wang Ou has much prettier posters! The two costars worked previously together in Weekend Parents/Full Love (周末父母) and now they are back as OTP in the latest drama adaptation from the author I Eat Tomatoes (ahum).
