Hi there! I’m a long time lurker, first time recapper. Kappy was kind enough to let me try this out and I’m super excited. Now onto the drama.
I haven’t read the novel this is based on, so I’m coming in with almost a blank slate. So far, I’m liking it. It’s fluffy, it’s dark, and everything and everyone is just so beautiful. And I’m always up for a little revenge drama.

Anyway, one of Ma Ke’s projects now has an air date! March 24th! Reincarnation of the Superstar, or simply Revive, is adapted from the novel of the same name. Our Ma Ke better be extra careful because it looks like dark horse Joe Xu might steal the scene…. from the former scene stealer. 🙂

YES! What a crazy ride! Very exciting trailer with a lot of emotions and drama for the hottest new face of 2015 Ma Ke to tackle! And it’s all the actors’ real voices (well, the Chinese actors at least)! A good start for 2016. Reincarnation (Reborn) of The Super Star is a webdrama adapted from the novel written by Qing Luo Shan Zi. Our Sha Jie Jie is a player in here, for he has both girls and boys running after him after his new face transformation. Are you ready?

Ma Ke and Viann Zhang for Reincarnation of The Super Star
Ma Ke is pretty hot right now, he’s already cast in another drama even before this one is filmed! Reincarnation of The Super Star is the drama adaptation of the novel written by Qing Luo Shan Zi. The copyrights is bought by Tencent Pictures and it will be broadcasted online through their platform (QQ), rendering it as a web drama. They released some character posters a few days ago, so let’s take a look at the storyline and the modern getup of Ma Ke, along with Viann Zhang (Border Town Prodigal), Joe Xu (The Legend of Flower), and Pong Nawat (Tawan Tud Burapa). Have anyone read this novel and could clarify a few points for me? When I read the book synopsis, I was taken by surprise because the main love story is between…. two male characters…?? Now that would be scandalous for CDramaland’s Police. Lol. But it’s a web drama so they have more leeway. Also, the drama version is reportedly changing so that the romance is between Ma Ke and Viann. We shall see~~~
