Wallace Huo duets with Della Ding at her Beijing Concert

Aww!! I love friendship moments outside of filming projects. The princess of drama theme songs in recent years, Della Ding, recorded the themesong for Perfect Couple with Wallace Huo earlier this year, and the two have become good friends since then. Last night, he appeared at her Live Concert in Beijing and performed “Good Times” in a perfectly fitted navy suit.

In other news, why don’t pop groups ever come to the East Coast to perform?!! I’m dying to attend a concert!

Wallace Huo & Tang Yan take turns roping each other like pets in “Perfect Couple”

I was initially frowning when I saw stills of Wallace sitting on a carriage and pulling Tang Yan like she’s his horse, but then I saw her roping his neck like a prisoner. I guess that’s fair enough. One thing though, they still didn’t change her kiddish bangs. They’re growing on me a bit…just a tiny bit (lies). For those who need a refresh, the storyline will be penned by Tong Hua, the writer behind Bu Bu Jing Xin, about a rich (obviously) lad clashing head with a traveling maiden. Gotta keep it simple so hopefully, she can whip some magic into this same old formula.

Wallace Huo reunites with Tang Yan in “Perfect Couple”

Something to look forward to? Upcoming Cdrama is penned by BBJX’s Tong Hua! Perfect Couple (金玉良缘) will be Wallace’s first investment. His production company, Huajae Studio, will work together with Zhejiang Dream Stardom Film & TV, known for producing Cdramas Sealed with a Kiss and Ru Yi. Aha! Another actor with his own company! It really makes one wonder how much money is needed to set up a company when everyone is owning one in China. Then again, they are highly-paid actors and China is a land of gold.

From the name alone, you wouldn’t guess that Perfect Couple is set in the ancient period right? Yep. Ming Dynasty.
