Last time, they released wintry stills of the cast galloping in the snow, and now we get a peek at the styling of all the key players. Ah, so after the initial rumored cast was exposed back in November, we finally have our confirmed cast and first batch of wintry stills for Leo Wu Lei‘s next epic costume drama, Fights Break Sphere, adapted from Battle Through the Heavens (斗破苍穹), a xianxia novel written by Tian Can Tu Dou with over 1000 chapters. Male lead was confirmed months ago for Wu Lei’s casting and now we have his female lead in Lin Yun, a film actress who broke into the scene by playing the mermaid in Stephen Chow’s movie, The Mermaid. She’s 20 to Leo’s 17. Very close! Her character, Xiao Xun Er, is adopted by male lead’s family and his childhood friend, very loyal and dedicated to him.

Holy. If they really invited all the listed celebrities, this is one heck of a pretty drama to look out for. Battle Through The Heavens or Fights Break Sphere (斗破苍穹) is based on a xianxia novel written by Tian Can Tu Dou with over 1000 chapters. That part alone makes me want to watch than read. Lol. A line of them?! Well, at least that means we each can pick a favorite…without fighting. 8D
Never thought there would be a day where I can’t remember the names of pretty people. This amount of pretty young stars in one drama should be illegal! Super Star Academy I (超星星学园) is a star-launching vehicle for a truckload of new faces in the showbiz, most of them are singers and rookies. In this parallel universe, one’s super power is based on their horoscope sign. Interesting. Our heroine is shunned when she was a child so when invitation from the prestigious Star Academy arrives, she readily agrees, not knowing it’s the first step of awakening her own powers. She also meets and befriends the numerous heirs in the said exclusive school, forming friends and enemies along the way.
This sounds like Harry Potter and his adventures in Hogwarts. Yunno, the kitty version. Lol.
