Nice!! The song gives me mixed feelings mainly because the beats remind me of the good old days of themesongs back in 2000s, though it hasn’t struck the right spot for me yet. I know many didn’t like Richie Ren‘s performance in The New Adventures of Chor Lau Heung, but I absolutely adored his beautiful love interests in that version. And the themesong sung by him remains in my fond memories and playlist till this day. I just need to replay this song a few more times to really, really, love it.

Ah so I’m not the only one! The melody is TOO similar to the opening theme of ROCH 2014 for my liking (no wonder cuz it’s composed by the same composer), just like the opening theme of Legend of Fragrance is basically a rip of the opening of Ancient Sword (again, no surprise since it’s by the same composer)
Thing is, the melodies are nice but I’m just iffy about composers regurgitating the same melodies over and over again … it’s like plagiarizing from yourself and not very creative, in my opinion…

I don’t think he looks disappointing or will be at all, he seems pretty cool in the trailer and is very good looking…although I am hoping the plot and interaction don’t disappoint me more.

Lol. Ever since his passionate rant in the first trailer, I began to have good feeling for his character. With this music video, he seems to have more personality than the stills released so far gave him credit for, which is a good thing! =D

Me too! Cuz the novel character is very complex for a story of this type and I just hope Li Yifeng can deliver. He’s always been criticized for being just a pretty face but let’s hope that he improves here.
His action scenes look pretty good though, which I’m happy with! 🙂

Especially since his character is CENTRAL to the entire story. The whole story revolves around his whole life so he really needs to be able to carry this drama or it will be a disaster.

The song is pretty good. It does remind me of the good old days in the 2000s (which I absolutely miss so much!). But, honestly, I feel like this song would match the new LOCH better (hehehe >_<).

What the heck is this!? Richie Ren returning to do theme song for a Wuxia series??
This is Chu Liu Xiang himself! A very questionable one, but still. Hua Tai Xiang (Flower Fragrant) was SO awesome back in the days. I love that song. And this one? I LOVE it too!! Right at first listen I’m loving it. Similar to ROCH 2014 theme song or not, which I also love. I think this has its own awesomeness to it. Maybe cause it’s Richie Ren.
Anyway, I love each of the characters poses. Everyone look so lovely.
This is my most anticipated series of the year. It looks like one the most pure Wuxia in years.
Adding Richie Ren vocal to the mix, this series win. I drop the mic. The wait is gonna hurt so bad.
