Keane: I dropped watching Love Cuisine right after I made an unofficial soundtrack post for it. If you want to request more songs off that soundtrack then send a holla in that post’s comment box to awaken the thread so I can find it faster. Sad to say, I’m pretty much done with that one.
I’ve always been a Bii fan ever since his music debut landed in Taiwan. You can imagine how stoked I’ve become when I realize he’s acting in this show, and the show is plugging his songs endlessly. LOL~ Can I get sick of hearing his melancholy vocals? Never. So, here I am, delivering bittersweet songs to your ears as much as I can before I go M.I.A. again. The struggle is real. Nevertheless, I miss y’all here.

Tried the first episode, but couldn’t handle the slow release of the episodes… so gave up 😛 Maybe I will retry this one again when everything will be released next years (when my exams will be over..)

It is actually a very pleasant and adorable drama to watch. But very little substance and storyline. Just enjoyable. Megan Lai was great acting as a guy. One of the best gender-bender actor I come across.

I’m a little crazy about this drama. It is so over the top with some of the cliché, I have to cover my face in embarrassment, but I would immediate part my fingers so I can peek some more. This drama is not for everyone but once you are in it, you can’t get out. The drama is addictive!! I love it to the moon and back.

My personal favorite bromance moment starts at 08m33s-09m09s. Curious enough? I LOL vigorously at that moment. Then, my next favs are both the tie scenes. Steaming hot!

I thought the first tie scene was trying too hard, and it turned out awkward and unbelievable. It made me want to ask the guy, “do you really need to be that close to help someone put on a tie?!”
But the second tie scene was AWESOME! At this point, we know how they felt about each other. While Du Zifeng hasn’t admit to his feeling for Pi Yanuo, his body doesn’t lie. He unconsciously leans into Pi Yanuo as if he is about to kiss her, and he does it over and over again throughout the scene. What makes the scene really work is seeing Pi Yanuo completely oblivious to his behavior. It shows their relationship has grown to a point when she feels comfortable enough with their intimacy that she can focus on her task without being distracted by his gorgeous presence.

Lol I haven’t watched any tdramas since…well I don’t even know. Maybe In Time with You? Yeah that was probably the last tdrama I’ve watched in a while. I just find Tdramas to be very…one-track style/genre. They’re usually very cutesy and cliched with generally not-awesome acting. idk, my opinion is super super general and stereotypical and probably not very informed since I haven’t watched them in forever, but that’s basically why I stopped watching them. Plus a lot of my favorite actors/actresses from Taiwan either switched to movies and the bigscreen (ariel, bolin, etc) or mainly act in mainland productions (Chen Qiao En, Alec Su, etc). I think the last tdrama I really really loved (aside from In Time with You) was Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber, and that was from like 2003.

Lol I have to give it to Megan Lai though. I watched one of the MV’s and I legitly thought she was a guy. Like, I knew nothing about this drama, so I actually thought for a long moment that Taiwan got super progressive and finally made a gay drama. I was like, wow all those homosexual protests in Taiwan are really helping. And then I checked out the wiki article and was like, oh, so…not so progressive. I was actually super excited for a moment. Cuz usually crossdressing girls just look like girls with short hair. Idk about Megan’s acting since I haven’t seen any of it, but physically she pulls off being a guy really really realistically.

Megan shot to fame when she played a lesbian in Café. Waiting. Love.. Her style from that movie transferred to here. Prior to that she was already a pretty good actress imo, just that she isn’t always given great scripts. She’s one of the few who hasn’t ventured over to the Mainland. It’s both a blessing and a curse because she’s stuck doing silly dramas.
I agree with you on T-dramas. Pretty much quit them two years ago when I had enough of the pointless plots and one-dimensional characters. I can handle one or two but it spun out of control. Which is what I feel like is happening to Mainland these days, but there’s more options than what T-dramas can offer.

Couldn’t agree more with you. I even had to transfer resyncing job to sky3456. Uploading tdrama for more than 2 years and I given up most of them. I recommend you to check Golden Bell Award Winner’s list before watching drama. Otherwise, you might end up watching silly drama.

This romantic comedy series is truly superb! It really woke me up from the depression and loneliness. Thank you to the smart and creative producers and writers who came up with this story line and of course to the amazing actors and actresses for doing a great job.

Well, we just may never see the light of day on the last track.
Seems Bii just released an album this month and this track “Love You Gently” wasn’t included in his kkbox digital tunes. Hope it comes in as a bonus track off a CD format or something soon.
