I’m so tireddddd my eyeballs could drop right on the floor! But when I see these pretty pictures of a newlyweds, I’m itchy to share them. Congratulations to Huang Xiao Ming and Angelababy! Their official wedding ceremony was held at Shanghai Exhibition Center yesterday. They look sincerely happy and I’m excited for them as well. Especially for Angelababy who has come a long way into my heart. I didn’t know about her bubbly personality until she came on Run Brothers, and boy, did that make a difference. They invited a lot of guests ya’ll. OMG. The estimated number reaches over 2000 (me being humble~)!

The wedding hall. Simply beautiful. They chose the Exhibition Center because Angelababy used to live near the site when she was little. But because she didn’t have an opportunity to visit it then, Xiao Ming wants to grant her wish and holds the ceremony at a place she marvels at for so long. When Professor He asked about the extravagant gifts Xiao Ming bought for Angela according to tabloids, Xiao Ming shot down the gossips immediately with, “Baby is priceless.” Good answer groom!
He decided to put her initial before his. 🙂

I went back and check the guests dresses, and it’s Lin Chi Ling! Her orange dress and bun hairstyle!
I love the way HXM looks at Baby, very sweet and dedicated, like she’s the only one he sees! That wedding dress was quite conservative, points for Baby! 🙂
Vicki looks like she has aged many many years compared to Ruby Lin. I wanted Ruby to catch the bouquet so she could marry Ren Zhong!! Anybody know anything about them dating??? At least? Lols.

Huang Xiao Ming is love spellbound! LOL. This splashy wedding kind of reminds me to Jay Chou, although I also read the XM-AB couple gave a large donation to a charity for disabled kids to celebrate the wedding (and urged their friends to do so). I also read HXM set up a charity cause on Angelababy’s name. Nice!

They did! The wedding cookies (small gifts) were made by disabled people as well, with a note asking everyone to support them. 🙂 It was thoughtful and I’m glad they did it.
And you’re right! I totally didn’t remember the gang from DGSD 2003! Mainly because I didn’t finish and my favorite will always be the TVB version with Felix. He’s truly a man’s man. =D

Weeell, Zheng Kai’s girlfriend is also in all white. Plus Huang Yi, Shu Qi, and Liu Tao are all in black and white. I know it seems kind of taboo just looking at the pics, but among at least 50-100 other guests, it’s not so bad. Plus in the after ceremony when the real interactions start happening, Angelababy’s in pale-pink.

I have to say, the main colors on the red carpet were mainly whites and blacks, I was disappointed. Ady usually dresses really well but one must have a bad day I guess. Lol.

Angela has her parents’ body structures and gaining weight seems to be easier. She can eat anything she wants as long as they make sure she’s eating healthily in the right amount.

I question some of these people fashion sense! Like Gao Yuan Yuan. Not liking Shu qi choice either, common we dress better to a wedding. I would of thought people would be more formal.

Aw, I was rooting for Ruby to catch the bride’s bouquet. I was taken aback, LCL looks like she aged a lot, more than Ruby if my drowsy eyes don’t deceive me so I suppose she needs to run up the alter sooner than later. I keep being confused about Shu Qi’s relationship with Stephen Fung. Aren’t they engaged? I thought she’s planning her own wedding with Stephen. I’m so confused.
I keep cracking up seeing Mark Chao grabbing onto his wife, while GYY only cares to hold onto LGX. What an awkward red carpet pose!?! I’m stunned Vicki Zhao was dressed uber casual. What phase of her life is she going through now? I suppose it’s a sweet gesture NOT to steal the bride’s thunder, Vicki. Kudos for you!
Is it just me, or does Boran Jing look like a young Go Soo? I wasn’t suprised to see Jason Zhang there since his wife, Ni Ni, is MC-ing. Good husband, good man.
I can’t recall any celebrity weddings where either the groom and/or bride uses their stage name instead of their real name initials. Truly eccentric duo.

So happy for HXM! Nothing better than to find your other half in this world! I hope to see little HXMs and ABs running around soon but considering AB’s young age and her being at the peak of her career now, I don’t think that will happen anytime soon? I like that they opted for a simple wedding gown. There is beauty in simplicity. 🙂 Congratulations to both!
