Intense official trailer for Wallace Huo’s Love Me If You Dare

Such a weird new title! Close Your Eyes When He Comes has officially become Love Me If You Dare. Well, I’m just gonna say this, if it’s you, Wallace, you don’t need to dare them to love. They will come in flocks. As for me, I still see Bai Zi Hua which is not good news for you buddy! Lol. The short teaser has some snide comments from our hero as well as some flying bullets…

The New York pictures… miss the city! 🙂 I wish they had filmed in not too touristy areas, like the East Village, or along the High Line. One picture shows the Queensboro bridge, so perhaps

I love thriller movies, but I’m not too thrilled with Wallace’s character. That sounds similar to, yes, Bai Zi Hua (minus the insulting).

Dang.. I clicked the submit key too fast! Was writing: One picture shows the Queensboro bridge, so perhaps it implies that they were coming from Queens. OK, not so touristy!

Hahaha my friend, from reading the novel – and hopefully this will be transferred in the drama – Bai Zi Hua is the last thing you would think!
Instead think…. Sherlock Holmes but about two levels down.
I don’t know, that was the vibe I got from reading the novel so rest assure – Bai Zi Hua is still on top of Chang Liu Mountain 😀 😀 😀

Guys, I don’t mean he’s like Bai Zi Hua. What I meant is that Bai Zi Hua is still fresh in my mind and that’s awful character to be remembered by. LOL!

can’t wait for october! woah, the trailer looks promising.. wallace looks freaking hawt! i hope they have a better ending for this drama.. but the girl character, why she looks fragile here? i only read one or two chapters of the novel.. so.. i have no idea about her character..

Definitely agreed. I need to remove the image of Bai Zi Hua to enjoy Wallace’s drama (same goes for the villains for JOF – man tian and mo yan). I have never have such a strong desire for a character’s demise like for Bai Zi Hua. LOL.

    Sandra is so pretty!!

No worries, Kappy. Bo Jin Yan is nothing like Bai Zi Hua. If Wallace turns him into BZH, I will just cry.

So that scene where he says the outfit doesn’t suit her? That’s when he takes her out to go mattress shopping. The line wasn’t in the book though. Oh, and I can’t find it right now, but there is a clip on Youtube that shows more of that scene. If I find it later, I will post it here.

I have a couple of things to ask. 🙂
I read spoilers about this story and the murders in it are very bloody and grotesque. How are they going to adapt it without suffering under the almighty SARFT scissors?
What’s up with Wallace’s weight fluctuations? Scary skinny in Perfect Couple and Battle of Changsha, relatively normal looking in The Great Protector and HQG, and now again veeery skinny. 🙁 Why?

@nell123 it’s because the roles called for it. BoC he portrayed a soldier during the time or War going from one place to another, so he was to remain skinny. Perfect couple was shot around the same time. In the Great Protector, he obviously needed to bulk up to look the part of a bodyguard. HQG was filmed shortly after and I don’t think he was able to loose the weight in time. Some fans of the novel said Wallace wasn’t slim enough. BZH was very skinny I suppose. And for this drama, the heroine literally calls him as Thin-Jin Yan. The first time she saw him I think she said he looked like an fragile, skinny, old man, or a skeleton, so yeah, that’s why he’s so scary skinny in role.

… hmm, interesting. I thought that he prefers to be skinny when he plays young characters (BoC, Swordsman), and larger when his characters are supposed to be older (Protector, HQG). Your reason makes more sense though. 🙂
Also, wuuuut?! BZH not skinny enough?! Are people blind? I thought fans in both China and abroad agreed that he looks perfect for the role. 🙁 At least in my mind, his well built body was a suitable manifestation of his great inner power. Lanky and fragile would be an inappropriate look to represent the most powerful immortal. Besides, unlike JIejie (<3) Wallace is kind of short so he would get lost in the many layers of clothing :)))

Hahaha omg, this seems wrong *dies laughing*

I won’t be watching this show, but if someone posts glossy screencaps of it, I won’t exactly mind *nudge nudge wink wink*
