One Tang Yan’s drama done, another one comes out. What’s worst is that The Legend of Fragrance airing next week will be direct competition to this one. They are screwing with ya, Tangie!

Kappy: I’m meh with the main romance but pretty pumped with Tony Yang’s scenes with both actresses, Tang Yan and Yang Rong. I hope Yang Rong’s scenes aren’t so limited as the trailers and music videos suggested. That would be a waste of her casting!

Lastly, hope you guys aren’t tired of Tang Yan’s face yet. Lol.

      sources are not allowed (*hush hush*) to be revealed because of the anti-piracy movement going on right now in china, many websites have been found and were closed down….

      your best option is to download from chinese streaming websites like qiyi, sohu, or letv using plugins or programs like http://www.clipconverter.cc, it’s also easy to download from youtube as they offer 720p/1080p nowadays. or you can google real hard to find it, that’s how it started for many of us.

      but in all honesty, unless you don’t mind 1 file being over 2GB (and it should be) or sometimes bigger (10GB+, true HD), it’s not worth it because resolution (480p, 540p, 720p) does not equal quality anyway. the team here encodes videos very well so 540p is ideal.

      Hope, there are public sites out that uploads manageable size videos (less than 2GB), just keep in mind that there are many versions of good and bad 720/1080p, depending on how well the encoders know what they are doing during the encoding process. If you google, you can find those sites. I don’t have the authority to reveal. =/

    Watched about 4 episodes, not my cup of tea. Too dramatic and predictable and I can’t stand Hawick, even though I like Tang Yan and Yang Rong.

    Hey!

    Did you guys who watched the latest epi 9 and 10 found the editing really weird and confusing. What happened there???!!!??? For one thing, more then half of epi 9 was a repeat of epi 8 and then epi 10 was so poorly edited that it didn’t really make sense, too much missing pieces to the puzzle, lolz…..

    I hope when Kappy posts up the dl links for epi 9 and 10, it’s the uncut version or full episode.
    Or does anyone know if there is two versions and where we can watch the stream uncut version?

    The series was quite good until these last two episodes, someone needs to fire the editing team! Editing is so important in a drama and if it’s not done right it can really ruin the plot line. That’s why I sometimes hate watching HuNan TV series because they usually sacrifice a good drama to put in more commercial time. Agghh….! So frustrating C-drama’s can be! 🙁

      I tried checking a few sites online but all of them gave the same cut too. The epi 9 and 10 video uploaded in Youtube felt more like a cut version instead. I will try to search online and see if i can find another source *fingers crossed*

        Hi Kappy!

        It seems like the only editing problem happened in mainly episodes 9 and 10. Once you watch 11 onwards it becomes normal again, lolz….
        Fortunately, I have found the ‘missing gap’ clips on v.qq.com in their extra/behind the scenes for 千金女賊. There was a 4 mins clip and 4 parts of 10 min clips (that adds up to basically one episode almost if you think about it) of the missing scenes. It made so much more sense when I finally watched them. I reckon they stuff up somehow when it was broadcast because if you added all the extra scenes together the missing gaps was about 40 mins long!
        Hoping that once you hunted down the correct episodes and posted it, I will have to go back and re-watch it again because that weird editing really killed the flow of the drama. None the less I’m too invested now to stop watching, lolz….. Gosh darn it!! 🙂

    Be patience my dear. Normally most of mainland dramas are having these kind of situations – uncut or cut version.

    This drama I’ve watched it on youtube, what disappointed me was from episode 7 to episode 11, its have cut and uncut version which confused me.

    Anyway, thanks for your efforts on finding and uploading new episodes.

    Nhube, episode 11-14 are not full 45 (longer/shorter) minutes as well, the storyline is still normal/makes sense?

    Michelle, Lol…. they are usually not this slow and messy but I guess this is what public sources encounter from time to time (esp now!)… I just don’t want to be stuck with one project forever because there are many others I want to upload at a regular interval. 🙂

      Even though 11-16 have episodes that are shorter and longer, the storyline and editing is quite aright; seems to make sense and flow pretty well. I would love them to show and give me more scenes because I would love more screen time, lolz…. but at least it wasn’t like 9 and 10 where it didn’t make sense.

      But if you can find normal length episodes greedy me would rather those, hehe…. 🙂

    Two endings? 🙁 I only like HE dramas so hopefully they’ll go with that. Between the two male leads, I don’t care who Tang Tang ends up with. As long as the other girl gets an unhappy ending because she’s too wicked. I cried when (spoiler alert) the adoptive father died in the fire. From the trailers, it looks like he’s not the only one she will be killing.

      I dislike directors who filmed two endings! My gosh. It’s YOUR story, tell it YOUR own way. Stop pleasing the fans at the risk of production values.

        Agreed. Usually, only K-dramas have this problem because they live shoot and when they cater to ratings, a lot of times the plot becomes incoherent. I hope they release both endings so that I can pretend the one that I don’t like didn’t exist.

          I agree with all, but mostly plz give me a happy ending, PLZ!!!! lolz….
          I dread watching all the way to the end and feeling miserable (hence why I avoid War dramas). Dramas are kinda escapist leisure things that I do to relax and run into fantasy land so I prefer happy endings any day over a heart breaking one.
          Or if they are gonna make this sad, I hope they do show us both endings and like Millie I too am gonna pretend the one I don’t like does not exists too, hahaha…..

          Thanks again Kap. That make so much more sense now. I see that they’ve managed to not only butcher the episode but changed the dialogue/person speaking and thus the flow of the story. I wonder why they did that? The original explained so much of not only what happened in that episode but subsequent ones too.

    Hi Kappy. Thanks for uploading this drama a lot. I love it so much. And I DO LOVE all the soundtrack/OST, too. However, i just can find 4 songs (ending, opening, onebilion…., and are u good) while there are so many beautiful soundtracks in the fillm, especially piano version when BAILANG plays for TANGTANG in ep 16(or 17) and when TANG YANG dates and dance with another guy in ep 2. DO you know where i can down those music? thanks very very much.

      Unfortunately, I still haven’t seen an official soundtrack for this drama (they only released 3 songs, what is the fourth one in your collection?). Not all Chinese shows have an official one with all the background music. Only Kdramas manage to have one for every drama.

        Just finished the series myself and I really enjoyed it. So glad they decided to give us a happy ending this time round (even though there were some tear jerking sad bits too 🙁 ).

        Kappy do you know the song played in Epi 46 (last epi) sung by a male singer around 15:30-17:00? That song is nice too but wouldn’t have a clue what’s it called, haha….. Maybe that’s the 4th song? Once you get your hands on it can you post that too, pretty plz……

    I finally found the scene that I anticipated since the BTS came out. Tang Yan stripping Tony. LOL. I wish we had a naughty female lead in this scene.

    Im still watching this and waiting for engsub.. Spoiler please, is it a HE? Bai and jiang right??? I like 3rd master also but i prefer the main lead! I watched both cruel romance and this one and i like lady&liar more!!
