In a nutshell, Ivy Chen plays Kyoko Mogami, a 16-year-old girl who discovers that her childhood friend and romantic goal, Sho Fuwa (plays by Lee Donghae), only keeps her around to act as a maid and earn his living expenses, as he works his way to become the top pop idol in Japan. Furious and heart broken, she vows to get revenge. She decides to delve into the entertainment world and become even more successful than Sho to get back at him. Kyoko therein meets Ren Tsuruga (plays by Choi Siwon), another actor in her agency, who helps motivate her to become a top entertainer.
Alice: Are they dubbed? I hear Donghae speaking in Korean..? The first half of the preview is fluffy and light while the second half contains tears and darker vows. I’m not sure how I feel about this drama yet. Not familiar with the manga itself, so let’s hope the director stays true to the plot and conflicts. On a minor note, I was hoping to see Siwon plays the jerky boyfriend just for the sake of teasing at this princely persona.
But based on the trailer alone, Ivy and Donghae seem to have sparkling chemistry.

I saw the Trailer a couple of days ago, i'm a huge fan of the manga it's amazing, but i'm 50/50 about the drama, cus the roles and the story and effects, it's gonna be hard playing that, but i'm curious as to see how they do it 🙂

Chris, how's the female character? Strong? Weak? It seems like she's totally his maid in the beginning, according to the description.

In the beginning the Kyoko is totally his maid, she's worked at his parents resturant and his home was her second home, she was in love with Sho Fuwa and had been so for many years and he drags her to tokyo where he uses her as a maid, when she finds out she gets furious, and wants to take revenge as stated.I'd say she's strong, but stupid, it's a bit hard to explain :p Somewhere they have a discription that Kyoko and Sho are a couple, and thats not it, in the preview, Tsurugara Ren and kyoko are a bit too close, in the beginning he should be despising her :p But i definitly suggest you read the manga to get a better picture of the characters :p i followed it from the beginning, and this is my third time reading it :p Hope that

Actually I was waiting ages for this drama to come out (sinse I heard rumors 4 years ago) finally the time has come and I was excited to know siwon will play tsurugara ren he just fits but I a little worried about donghae but seeing from the trailer I have a feeling that he won't desappoint me, he looks great with that hair by the way, as for Ivy well let's say I have confidence in taiwanese acting skills tw actors never fail to convince me with their characters.But If you ask me I know exactly who will be perfect for kyoko role:guess who?
