Synopsis: Law Lik-ah (Kevin Cheng) used to practice law for personal fame and glory but after setting up a Legal Advice Centre with his cousin George Mai (Alex Lam) and his good friend Tin Ka-fu (Sam Lee) in Sham Shui Po, Lik-ah changes his mind and realizes that legal representation is not only a privilege of the rich.

Soon, Lik-ah becomes the Peoples’ Hero of Sham Shui Po, helping grassroots groups fight against injustice with unconventional tactics. On the other hand, barrister Wong Si-fu (Myolie Wu), who used to admire Lik-ah for his invincible performances, starts to disdain him for downgrading to a ghetto lawyer. However, after a few court cases with him, the two start to appreciate each other and fall in love.

Besides succeeding in her relationship, Si-fu tries to become an elite practitioner in town. In order to gain advancement, she seizes every chance to get close to the renowned barrister Cheung Pak-kei (Shek Sau). As Pak-kei enjoys getting people into trouble, he makes sure Si-fu is accidentally embroiled in a lawsuit.

Alice: Haven’t watched a tvb drama in a while! Out of curiosity, I downloaded the first four episodes from asiatorrents (thanks Guilt!). The clean and shaven Kevin is no more! Welcome nose-picking, bad breath, all down and dirty! Myolie has an interesting role as well, she plays an ambitious and prejudiced barrister.

    wow you're actually uploading a tvb drama 😀 i've been watching this drama, up to episode 11. I think it's pretty good and kevin cheng would definitely look better without his mustache 🙂

    I'm actually watching two tvb series, the other one being My Sister Of Eternal Flower (for CharRay). So jealous of you Wendy as I need to wait for English subtitle to watch Ghetto Justice. I'm not even sure why I was attracted to GH, maybe it's the ghetto word. 🙂 I'm liking it and looking forward to episode 5!

    lol i really liked my sister of eternal flower. i cried in ep 14, 15 🙁
    hahs well i usu. have to wait for the eng subs for everything else like korean dramas and tawainese dramas. but since im canto the only privilege i get tvb ones lol

    just wondering where you got the english soft subs from. i’m looking for soft subs for other tvb dramas that are airing atm. quite hard to find.
